Best 7 Tips To Save Your Time on Instagram

Managing social media may seem like a simple task, but it can take time. For social media influencers, it can be more difficult. With so many small but crucial things to take care of, you might feel won at some point.

That's why you should look for opportunities to do things more efficiently and free up more time for other important tasks. On Instagram, there are plenty of ways to save time and improve your productivity.

If you are a brand you may need to post and make a good response from it. But if you are an Instagram influencer you need more attention from every single post on your wall. So it is a responsible need to save influencers time on Instagram for more work.

I am a regular user of Instagram and I have researched some points on how I can save my time on Instagram. Some points are common for all and some are for the marketers. Today I will try to explain some points here to make you more active on this platform.

Here are the 7 tips that have saved me hours and hours of work on Instagram.

1. Plan your content ideas in advance.

It sounds simple: take a few minutes a day to think of a great idea, create the post, and publish it. Unfortunately, when your business grows, you can't just keep improvising. I changed my mind and started planning. What content will I post this week? Am I going to follow a theme? What do my clients' audiences need?

It takes less time to plan a week of publishing than it takes to think about it every day. It may seem like the sum of the parts equals the total when you add up the time spent creating each article, but working in batches really saves time. Fill your editorial calendar once and for all.

What helps is using an Instagram posting platform. Thanks to Jocial for example, you can plan a month of posts, videos or photos, in an hour! No need to be in front of your phone to post, the platform does it for you at the time and date you choose!

You can even add groups of hashtags that you use frequently so you don't have to manually retype them with each post!

2. Schedule your publications

From taking original photos and editing them to developing original graphics, the content development process can be time-consuming. So instead of having to create a new post from scratch every time you need to post it, create a week of posts at a time.

Use the topic program you created earlier to generate content ideas and create them ahead of time. You can even use a visual planner like Later to preview what your feed will look like. It's a great way to make sure the content you create matches your feed.

3. Don't type descriptions with your thumbs.

When you type on a very small screen with your thumbs, you waste time. Even if you're quick, adding hashtags and editing the text can be overwhelming. You save a lot of time when you can type descriptions on a computer. Especially if you already use a tool like Planoly, Later, Crowdfire, or Agorapulse to plan your content.

If you don't feel like adding another tool to your arsenal, you can even use Evernote to type your text ahead. Then open the Evernote app on your phone to copy and paste the text into Instagram.

Another way to save time is to use the dictation app on your phone. (Most phones have a microphone icon on the keypad to enable dictation). Dictating a comment saves you time, so just add hashtags. If you only work with your phone, you can buy a small Bluetooth keyboard to type directly into Instagram.

4. Use a schedule to post at the right time

If you've been in the social media management industry for a while, you know how important it is to get your followers when they're most active. When you publish your articles at the right time, you have a much better chance of attracting your audience.

But you already know how difficult it is to keep up with a regular posting schedule, especially when your hands are busy with other important tasks. That's why you need to start planning your posts to make sure you get them out at exactly the right time without having to constantly set reminders and alarms.

Most of the popular social media management tools have this feature. Besides the remove post tool, you can also use tools like Buffer or CoSchedule. These tools even give you valuable insight into when your followers are most active, so you know exactly when to schedule your posts.

5. Organize your photos

Have you ever wanted to post a photo and had to scroll through your entire list of photos to find it? That time is over. Create an album where you save the photos you want to use on Instagram. If you have an iPhone, that means an iOS album. This is a useful tactic for easily finding photos to send to an app that can be used to edit them or add text to them, such as Over or VSCO.

6. Save your best labels for later use

Hashtags are great for increasing the visibility of your Instagram content. They can help you reach people who don't even follow your brand as your posts will appear in your hashtag search results.

But it can take a long time to do hashtag research every time you are going to post a new post.

Save some time by gathering the high-performing hashtags that you use frequently in your posts and save them in a note. So you can easily choose the most relevant hashtags when creating headlines for your new posts. This way, you won't have to start from scratch and search for the correct hashtags to use every time.

7. Carefully monitor your engagement and metrics

Opening Instagram whenever your phone tells you you've received a "Like" or comment. It's like trying to work by trying to keep an eye on your mailbox and read every mail as it arrives. If you are constantly distracted, you will never do anything.

Plus, it's also not the best way to view your success: the information comes to you in the form of anecdotal evidence and you don't get the big picture. My advice is to turn off notifications (on the iPhone you can turn off banners and alerts, but keep the badge on the app icon). Then set a time to view your comments and review your stats. You can do this once a day or many times a day, depending on how many comments your Instagram profile receives and how often.

Check out their weekly and monthly analyzes to see what trends are emerging and what you can learn. What kind of content, what hashtags, and what times of the day get the best engagement? When did you receive the most clicks and clicks on your bio links? Schedule a time interval to review the statistics.
